Seeing coyotes anytime, anywhere adds a lot to my day. I love their songs too.

If we large-brained apes can simply understand that coyotes are adapting to this complex human-dominated world and treat them with respect, we should be able to coexist with minimal conflict and great enjoyment.

My backyard has been graced, once in a great while, by a, single, coyote who is moving, so, quickly the he/she is gone by the time I try to scurry to another window. I used to think that they traveled in packs, but, I have only seen them traveling alone.

Recently, we say a, single, coyote trotting in the opposite direction next to the street on which we were driving. We stopped to take pictures as he trotted, with great focus, on his path ahead. We were mesmerized. It was a, great, privilege. As we wondered how safe he was, we realized that he is one of the many examples of an “urban” coyote.

Thank you, Mr. Parsons, for your, supportive, campaign to appreciate coyotes!
