This local co-op in our foodshed partners with local farmers to provide food, including: bulk pinto beans, pecans, cornmeal, atole, polenta, Freanna yogurt, Rasband milk, Monte Azul eggs, Mujeres tamales, Talus Wind pork, Tucumcari cheese, El Pinto salsa, Silver Leaf greens/herbs/eggplant, Livity kale/beets/salad mix, Camino de Paz greens, Exotic Edibles mushrooms, Liquid Light sprouts/wheatgrass, Growing Opportunities tomatoes, Romero snowpeas, B’s and Moses honey, and more as seasonally available.

Keller’s Farm Stores, 2912 Eubank NE (505-294-1427), open 8:45am–7pm Mon.–Sat, 9–6pm Sun; and 6100 Coors NW (505-898-6121), open 9am-6pm. Small family stores source local, grass-fed, mostly humane meat.

Sichler Farms, Los Lunas. 820 San Mateo NE (505-255-3338). Albuquerque store is open from August through October. Chile, tomatoes, apples, ristras, corn, pumpkins, garlic, beans, and onions. Online shopping and shipping available year-round for everything but fresh foods.


Skarsgard Farms, 505-681-4060. Some produce is from “regional” partners. Certified organic all year long. Pay per order, not per season. Distribution site is 1920 Columbia Dr. SE. Order on-line.

Agri-Cultura Network, La Cosecha CSA, Latrell Kaye at 505-217-246. Farmer-owned cooperative. Sign up in May for the growing season. Full shares are $32/week; half shares $16/week, June-October.
